SCRATCH  COAT MORTAR

MIXCOAT is one component cementitious dry blend of Portland cement, sand and other special binders. It is specifically used as a leveling scratch coat to prepare concrete or wood substrates before setting ceramic tiles.

MIXCOAT is used as a setting bed with metal lath for ceramic tile, Stone, terrazzo, quarry tile, paver tile, Wood, parquet and carpet over exterior grade plywood for interior residential light -duty floors in dry areas only, concrete, concrete terrazzo, pavers, brick and stone. MIXCOAT may also be used as a leveling coat on vertical or horizontal concrete surfaces where a smooth, even substrate is required.
